Edloe Finch

In 2008, while pursuing his degree in finance and playing linebacker at the University of Miami, Darryl Sharpton began selling furniture – initially to earn some extra money, but it quickly became an obsession.

In the Spring of 2010, the Houston Texans selected Darryl in the 4th round of the NFL Draft. Darryl intended to continue following his furniture passion after playing just one year in Houston, but decided he loved the game too much to quit playing and delayed that dream a few more years.

After 5 seasons (and multiple knee and shoulder surgeries), Darryl decided to turn in his helmet, retire from the NFL and pursue his passion for furniture – he partnered with his wife, Jessica, to launch Edloe Finch in 2017.
